Terms of use.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms cover your use of the dronereport.online website and the report software that runs on it (together, “the service”). The service is run by Drone Report Online (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you have a question about these terms, contact us at [email protected].

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. Who owns the software and design

The software, code, design, layout, report templates, wording, graphics and branding of dronereport.online belong to us (or the people we licence them from) and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. © 2026 dronereport.online. All rights reserved.

While you have an account in good standing, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service to produce reports for your own work. That licence doesn’t give you ownership of the software or design. You must not:

  • copy, reproduce or imitate the software, its design or its report templates, in whole or in part;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract the source code, except where the law specifically allows it;
  • scrape, crawl or harvest the site or service with bots or other automated tools;
  • resell, rent, sublicense or offer the service (or a copy of it) to anyone else;
  • use the service, or anything learned from it, to build a competing product;
  • remove or hide any copyright or ownership notices.

2. You own your content

Your report content stays yours. That includes your notes, findings, photos, logos, business details and the reports you produce. You can share your finished reports with your clients however you like.

You give us permission to store, process and display your content only so we can run the service for you, for example saving your photos and building your PDF reports. We don’t claim ownership of it.

You’re responsible for your content: you need the right to use any photos and details you upload, and you’re responsible for the accuracy of your reports and the professional judgements in them.

3. Your account

Keep your login details safe and don’t share your account. Give us accurate details when you sign up. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service fairly and lawfully. You must not:

  • upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that you don’t have the right to use;
  • try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or into parts of the service you aren’t meant to reach;
  • interfere with or disrupt the service, its security or its servers, including uploading malware or overloading it;
  • use the service in a way that breaks any law or regulation.

5. Free period and subscription

The service is free to use during the free period shown on our website (currently until the end of February 2027). You don’t need a card to sign up.

After the free period, you need a paid monthly subscription to keep using the service. The price is shown before you pay, and you won’t be charged unless you choose to subscribe. You can cancel at any time, and you won’t be charged again after you cancel.

6. The service is provided as is

We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We can’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, improve or remove features from time to time. Please keep your own copies of the reports you produce.

7. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, is misused, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first. You can stop using the service at any time.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, business, contracts or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. If you use the service as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don’t affect.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new “last updated” date. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any disputes.
